Who is responsible
The controller of your personal data is ESMERO ADVISORY OÜ, registry code 17543727, Lõõtsa tn 5, Lasnamäe, 11415 Tallinn, Estonia. You can reach us at info@esmero.net.
What data we collect and why
This website has one form. When you use it, we receive the name, email address, property or company and message that you choose to write. We use them only to reply to your request and to assess whether we can help you. We do not use them for marketing lists or newsletters, and we do not sell or share them for advertising.
If you write to us by email instead, we handle that email in the same way.
Legal basis
- Replying to your request and preparing a possible engagement: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR).
- Keeping a record of the contact and protecting the business from abuse of the form: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
- Invoicing and accounting records, if we work together: legal obligation under Estonian accounting law (Article 6(1)(c) GDPR).
Who processes your data
Form submissions pass through Web3Forms, operated by Web3Creative from India. It forwards each submission to our mailbox and keeps its own copy for up to three years. To run the service it uses sub-processors, including Amazon Web Services and Cloudflare for hosting and delivery, and anti-spam services that receive the sender's IP address and email address. Emails are handled by Google Workspace. The website itself is served by Cloudflare, which processes technical data such as your IP address in order to deliver the pages and keep them secure.
These providers act on our behalf and may process data outside the European Economic Area. Transfers are covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, which Web3Forms incorporates in its data processing agreement.
We do not use advertising or analytics cookies, and this website does not set cookies of its own.
How long we keep it
If we do not work together, we delete your message and details from our mailbox within 12 months of the last contact. Web3Forms keeps its own copy for up to three years, and we will ask it to delete your copy earlier if you request it. If we do work together, we keep the contract and invoicing records for the period required by law, currently seven years in Estonia.
Your rights
You can ask us to give you access to your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its use, send it to you in a portable format, or stop processing it where we rely on legitimate interest. Write to info@esmero.net and we will answer within one month.
If you believe your data has been mishandled, you can complain to the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee) or to the authority in your country of residence.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with its date.
